SEND Leadership is time intensive, intellectually complex and emotionally compelling. Thats why our Ambassadors collaborate to pool their expertise together and make a difference. Whether focused on whole-school strategy, operational modernisation or coal-face support, our Ambassadors deliver impact.

Anita Devi

As a former SENCO, Senior Leader, School Improvement Advisor and local authority SEND Advisory Teacher, Anita Devi carries a wealth of experience in developing leaders of learning.  

Her own teaching career spans early years to post grad in the UK and overseas and Anita lives her why through her belief in the joy of learning.  In 2017, Anita was awarded the prestigious international Influential Educational Leaders Award for her SEND Pipeline strategy developing professionals from initial teacher training to advanced and experienced SENCOs.  

In 2019, Anita’s multi-agency team - #TeamADL, were chosen as finalists for the Disability SMART Influencer Award … we await the results.  Currently, Anita is also a 4th year PT PhD student, Healthwatch Trustee and Changemaker Education Consultant.

Time management matters to Anita and she chooses not to work after 5.30pm or on the weekends!

Monica Conlon

Monica is the co-founder of Impact Education Software, and SENDiT’s functional designer.  

Following a 25-year career in education, as a teacher in both primary and secondary schools, a Local Authority SEND Officer, and an Independent SEND Consultant, Monica moved into software development to provide a digital solution for SEND provision leadership.

Monica is continuing to develop the product with our engineers and she is leading the Implementation team, which can, if requested provide direct support for schools when they begin using SENDiT. Monica is also working with our ambassadors in exciting collaborative leadership projects. SENDiT!
